    5.  Minutes of the Meeting of February 23, 2004.  (Motion whether or not to approve the Minutes as printed.)

    6.   Claims for the week of February 20 through 26, 2004, in the amount of $900,225.88.  (Motion whether or not to allow the claims.)

    7.  Report from Community and Economic Development Department regarding the Public Hearing Procedures for RiverStone Annexation and Special Use Permits.   (Motion whether or not to adopt the revised procedures as recommended.)

 

    8.  Mayor Schwiebert will close the regular meeting and open Public Hearings for the following requests from Riverstone Group, Inc.:

 

  1.  Request to annex into the City of Rock Island five parcels located at the northeast, southeast and southwest quarters of Interstate 280 and Illinois Route 92, and connecting segments of public right of way of Interstate 280 and Illinois Route 92. (Large File)

 

B.  (S-2004-2) Request for a Special Use Permit to operate a Sand and Gravel Extraction Operation on property at the northeast quarter of Interstate 280 and Illinois Route 92 (Rock Island Parkway). Mayor Schwiebert will close the Public Hearing, reconvene the regular meeting and entertain motions as follows:

b.      (Annexation) Refer to the City Attorney for an Ordinance;

 

c.       (S-2004-2) (Motion whether or not to approve the Special Use Permit with stipulations stated, and refer to the City Attorney for an Ordinance.)

 

d.(S-2004-3) (Motion whether or not to approve the Special Use Permit with stipulations stated, and refer to the City Attorney for an Ordinance.)

 

    9.  Report from the Community and Economic Development Department regarding a rezoning and preliminary site plan review request from R-1 to B-4 District at approximately 6301 38th Street West.  (Item Deferred February 9 to March 1. Motion on Floor - A motion was made by Alderman Conroy and seconded by Alderman Bauersfeld to approve the rezoning and preliminary site plan, and refer to the City Attorney for an Ordinance.)
